About Remy R.E.D

Remy Farah, known professionally as Remy R.E.D, is a Syrian-American rapper, producer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Syria, he immigrated with his family to the United States at the age of 12. Remy began his music career in 2003 with the aid of his older brother and producer T.A.Z, and debut in 2005 under Mac Dre/Thizz Entertainment along with his group The Dragons. After working on a few group albums, mixtapes and compilations, he established his own label; The Dragons Era in 2012, and released several solo albums and Singles since. Remy R.E.D worked closely with The Jacka of the Mob Figaz, and was also a guest Dj on Philly Freeway and The Jacka’s “Highway Robbery Tour” in 2014.

 

Remy R.E.D; along with his group The Dragons made their first appearance on Thizz Nation Vol.3 compilation in 2005. Their debut album “Rapademics 101” came out shortly after in 2006 under Mac Dre/Thizz Ent., which featured artists form Mac Dre’s Label such as Mac Mall, Mistah F.A.B., J-Diggs, as well as The Jacka and Husalah of the Mob Figaz. A few years later he would release “Smokehouse Chronicles”, which was an Exclusive Mixtape collaboration with The Demolitionmen Dj’s. Featuring most of the roster of artists from his debut album; as well as other heavy hitters; “Smokehouse Chronicles” would put Remy R.E.D and his group The Dragons on the map. Remy R.E.D and his group The Dragons joined forces with The Gorillapits, and released “The Monsta Squad” collaboration album in 2011, and made it to Regional Billboards Top 100. In 2014 Remy and The Dragons released “Dragon Dynasty”, a-then highly anticipated group album with Yukmouth. In 2014 Remy R.E.D also released his first solo album “On The House”, immediately followed by an exclusive Mixtape titled “Menace To Sobriety” in 2015 with Dj Rah2k. During that period, Remy also released his first Bay Area club single titled “Over With” featuring The Jacka and K-Loc, along with a music video. After The Jacka’s untimely death in 2015, Remy R.E.D released several albums and singles from his vault, with a handful of unreleased songs recorded prior to The Jacka’s death. In 2017 he co-released “Hands of Time”, a full album with K-Loc of The Gorillapits. In 2018 he released two new singles featuring The Jacka, “She Go Crazy”, and “Never”, as well as a collaboration EP with Stevie Joe titled “After Hours”. Focusing more on his solo career, Remy R.E.D unveiled more of his unreleased songs with The Jacka, and released two new singles in 2020. “Take Control” along with a music video, and “Callin”; which also featured Keak Da Sneak. Remy R.E.D returned in 2021 with a new EP titled “Rewind”, along with three new music videos including the Single “No Rush” featuring Jason Cruz.
